First Day in Chile :D

Landed safely!! First day was a blur: Waiting 5 hours at the airport, then like 30 minutes on a bus, then like an hour in a hotel lobby. Then a delicious lunch, swimming- TOTALLY GOT A SUNBURN!!- then lots of boring orientation stuff and then a delicious dinner.
I don't know if its because they think we are fat Americans or what but I have never eaten so much in my entire life. They just keep bringing food and they pretend like the don't understand when I say no more or "no mas." But its all super tasty. I tried raw salmon- didn't like that so much- and like some sort of algae stuff which was actually okay.
Oh and I'm the only non-junior with my program.. so that's weird.. but everyone is super nice and for the most part I've met almost everyone (there are 36 people in total.)

Okay that's all for tonight. I'm fried. I will put up lots of pictures tomorrow. :D

Oh also I need like goals and stuff for the program. I guess I will post them on here to keep myself honest, also if anyone has any suggestions or ideas let me know, I need more.
1) Become fluent (duh!)
2) Start speaking Spanish as much as possible (today was sensation overload, I could barely walk without running into people, let alone speak in Spanish)
3) Climb in the Andes (a couple kids in the program are also climbers!)
4) Check out the CrossFit Gym
5) Hike in the Andes
6) Get good grades
7) Run a marathon?!?!? (maybe!! there is one here in April. Maybe just a half? That could be awesome!)
