Last Week in pictures

So I have a horrible week of tests ahead of me (3 tests and an in-class essay!) So this week and last week are not as exciting as usual. But last week I did try to explore a new part of Santiago everyday,  this is some of the stuff I found.

Alright the camera can't capture how cool this building is. I have no idea what its purpose is, but it has free wifi and a cool (if a little touristy) book shop and lots of art and the architecture is soo cool!

I went to the Museo de Bellas Artes (Museum of Beautiful Arts) and you weren't supposed to take pictures so these are the ones I could sneak:

Super cool and it was neat to be able to read everything in Spanish (Oh yeah, did I mention my Spanish has gotten SO MUCH better lately)

I also discovered this really cool place, right by one of my classes called Barrio Brasil (Neighborhood Brazil, more or less) that is super cool and cute. This just adds to my theory that Chile has much better parks than we do.

Tom on the swings.

Also in Barrio Brasil we found this really cute restaurant/cafe that was definitely pretty socialist/left leaning, but that just made it even cuter. We had tacos that were not that great and milkshake juice drink things: pineapple juice with vanilla ice cream and raspberry ice cream with apple juice, they were pretty fantastic.

And this isn't new, but this is a view from the bridge that I cross on Mondays and Wednesdays to get to class from the metro (in most parts of the city the metro is underground, but my class is kind of on the outskirts more.)

Okay that's all for now, figured I'd throw some pictures up here to keep it interesting :D
